My husband and I moved our family to Walla Walla in October. I was four months postpartum and needed to get back into shape. I was also looking to meet other moms. This fitness group was just what I needed. When I joined, I had the assumption that this group would be a bunch of…
I started attending WWfitconnect one week after moving into town and I don’t think they’ll ever know how much of a positive impact they have had on my life since that moment. The community is EVERYTHING with this group and the friendships I have made here are with the most authentic women I’ve ever met.…
“Ashley Barnhart’s online strength training program has been a “god send” since Covid-19 closed gyms and kept people home. This program has allowed me to not only continue, but progress, my fitness journey. I utilize this program in the comforts of my own home, using minimal equipment, all while achieving maximum results. Ashley posts videos…
“I’m eating the same foods I always have but I’ve learned how to eat them right. I was not properly fueling my body so I would crash big time in the afternoon and reach for the wrong foods. My anxiety has been much better since starting, my energy level has increased. I’ve never found anything…
“Hi! I am a mom of three boys that I had all in 3 years. As you can imagine, I don’t get much time to myself or to exercise. Before kids I was in great shape and worked out almost every day. I reached out to Ashley about 4 months ago and asked her to…
When I first heard of WWFC, I have to be honest I was a little judgmental. I thought to myself “How could a group of moms really be getting a good work out in?” I am former college basketball player and coach and I knew what I wanted in terms of a workout. After, months…
Do I have to have a jogging stroller to come?
No, any stroller is suitable for class.
Do my children have to stay in the stroller?
Yes, we ask that kids under 5 stay in the stroller during class for safety purposes. When class is outside, there is more room for flexibility in older toddler age group.
What if my child won’t sit in the stroller the whole time?
We move the kids around a lot to keep everyone happy. If a child needs to get out of the stroller for something, you can absolutely do this, once the child is calm, we ask they get back in. We have found that our kids around 3 or 4 like being around one another more than us so we push their strollers together so they can play.
What do I need to bring?
A stroller of any kind, water bottle and a yoga mat for outside classes.
What if I haven’t worked out for a long time?
Class is designed to offer many different levels of exercise while keeping everyone together in a group fitness setting. There is no requirement for previous fitness experience to come to class. We have had all levels and stages of fitness in class from prenatal clients, to newly postpartum, to those trying to start their relationship with exercise to advanced clients. We can accommodate everyone.
